From Darkness to Light
In 2011, I wrecked my car while blacked-out drunk — and that was one of the best nights of my life. That was exactly what I needed to wake up and step onto the path of healing. For so long I didn't know who I was, why I was here, or why I was suffering so much.
I entered a program of recovery, developed a relationship with the God of my understanding, and miracles started happening. I applied to Rutgers Law School — they rejected me. I applied again, and got in. After struggling with reading and writing my entire academic career, after being rejected by so many schools, after innocently believing I was stupid for most of my life:
I graduated law school as the valedictorian, went on to practice corporate law at one of the best international law firms in the world, closing multibillion-dollar deals.
Then something unexpected happened. I was successful yet unhappy and deeply unfulfilled. I prayed for help and God answered. I was called to serve. In 2018, I left the legal profession altogether and transitioned into full-time coaching.
I now have a successful coaching business, beautiful family and home, and peace in my heart. I feel more free and fulfilled than I could have ever imagined. I know who I am now and why I'm here. I'm here to be love, change lives, and shift the world.
